Delhi Mahila Samridhi Yojana: On Thursday, Delhi Chief Minister Shrimati Rekha Gupta said that the Delhi government is working on the Mahila Samridhi Yojana, and soon the eligible women of Delhi will be able to get Rs 2500 per month.
While talking to the media, Shrimati Rekha Gupta also said that no new ration card has been made in Delhi for 12-14 years, due to which it has not been possible to launch any new scheme.
While talking to the media, the CM also said that the Delhi government is working on a full proof plan of the Mahila Samridhi Yojana so that it can be implemented in a proper manner so that all the eligible people who could not avail its benefits due to not having a ration card can get their benefits in a proper manner.
In the Vidhan Sabha elections in February 2025, the BJP had promised that if the BJP is elected in these elections, it will provide Rs 2500 per month to women from economically weaker sections.
Speaking at the ‘Express Adda’ program, the Chief Minister said that his government has already approved Rs 5,100 crore to implement this scheme in the budget 2025-26. This program was organized by The Indian Express.
150 new electric buses will start, and will be flagged off soon
Looking at the pollution happening in Delhi, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the main cause of air pollution is the smoke and dust coming out of vehicles. Keeping this in mind, the Delhi government is giving a green light to 150 electric buses so that some work can be done.
While talking to the media, she also said that by the end of this year, the fleet of electric buses will reach around 2000, and it will take 1-1.5 years to convert the entire fleet into electric buses.
Rekha Gupta also said that the BJP has come to Delhi after 27 years, and whatever work was not done in the last 27 years, the BJP will now complete it, and the other work that is to be done in the next 27 years will be done in the next 27 years. The Delhi government has already started planning for its development.
