Upcoming 5 Cars with ADAS in India : A couple of years ago, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems were just about considered an accessory of luxury cars. In a country like India, this is how features in cars would be by 2025. Today, budget cars are being fitted with ADAS features like lane-keep assist, auto-emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning, which minimize collision chances during driving conditions, mainly in highways and traffic-laden urban areas.
Currently, all automobile makers’ heads are talking safety, and even more interestingly, they do not have to spend that crore level-starting from 25 lakh to 30 lakh-to buy a car with ADAS. Five of those which one can expect to see on Indian roads with relatively affordable pricing in terms of ADAS features by 2025 are:
Tata Curvv (Petrol & EV)
Tata is all set to launch the Curvv in petrol and electric modes. Apart from the electrifying coupé-SUV design, it hopes to provision Level 2 ADAS features-across automatic braking, lane keep assist, and more-for under 15 Lakhs rupees!
Hyundai Creta EV
Hyundai will soon be bringing an electric edition of its most sought-after SUV to the market. The SUV would inherit a lot of modern EV technology from the facelifted version of the Creta Petrol and would have a few ADAS features such as forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control.
Mahindra XUV300 Facelift- XUV 3XO with ADAS
The latest launched variant of Mahindra XUV 3XO features advanced safety specifications. There are a few other variants that will be revealed very soon; each of those would undoubtedly come loaded with advanced ADAS technology thus ensuring enhanced safety under the 10 lakh mark.
Kia Clavis
Loaded features are expected in Kia’s new compact SUV Clavis. Rumours suggest that Level 1 or Level 2 ADAS may be fitted into the high-end variants. Given Kia’s tech-forward attitudes, this may be a game-changer in the sub-15 lakh SUV space.
Citroën C3 Aircross Facelift
The French automaker is preparing to update the C3 Aircross. Should there be an upgrade, ADAS features would more likely find their way, which would be an edge over competitors; therefore, it will probably be somewhere between ₹10-13 lakh.
