The central government has issued an important update regarding the PM Kisan Yojana. Farmers waiting for the next installment of ₹2,000 must complete a mandatory process; otherwise, their payment may get delayed or permanently withheld. The authorities have already started reviewing beneficiary data, and any negligence in this work can cost farmers their upcoming support.
Mandatory e-KYC Process
Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, it has become compulsory for all beneficiaries to complete the e-KYC process. Without it, farmers will not receive their ₹2,000 installment. The government has made it clear that pending or incorrect KYC will lead to payment being stuck. The e-KYC can be done online through the official PM Kisan portal or offline by visiting the nearest CSC center.
Land Record Verification Required
Apart from KYC, the government is also checking land ownership details. Every farmer must get their land records verified as per state government rules. Failure to update land information or submission of incorrect documents can lead to removal from the beneficiary list. This verification drive is part of the government’s effort to ensure that only eligible farmers receive the financial support.
Bank Account Linking and Aadhaar Matching
Another important specification is linking of Aadhaar with the bank account registered in PM Kisan records. If Aadhaar and account details do not match, the installment will not be credited. Farmers should check their account status on the official portal. Moreover, changes in bank account or Aadhaar should be updated immediately to avoid any interruption in payment.
Deadline and Possible Loss
The government has set a strict deadline for completing the e-KYC and document verification. Those who miss the deadline will not get the ₹2,000 amount under the next installment. There is no guarantee of late processing after the deadline. Therefore, farmers are advised to act fast. This small step is crucial to continue receiving support under the PM Kisan scheme.
