Tata Motors is bringing an exciting addition to its premium hatchback lineup with the Altroz Racer 2025. The car was recently showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, and it’s creating quite a buzz. From its sporty looks to upgraded performance, the new Altroz Racer is built to attract young buyers looking for a thrilling yet practical ride.
Engine Setup Brings New Performance
The Tata Altroz Racer 2025 is powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine. This is the same engine used in the Nexon, and it produces 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, which makes the driving experience more engaging compared to the older Altroz iTurbo that came with a 5-speed unit.
Mileage Yet to be Disclosed
Tata Motors has not yet officially confirmed the mileage figures for the Altroz Racer. However, since it shares its engine with the Nexon, expectations are that the mileage would range between 18 to 20 kmpl under standard conditions. More details will be revealed closer to the official launch.
Features and Specifications That Stand Out
The new Altroz Racer is packed with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7.0-inch digital driver’s display. It comes equipped with six airbags, ventilated seats, wireless charging, and a 360-degree camera. The design includes new dual-tone exterior shades and racing stripes that give it a sportier appearance than the standard model.
Expected Price and Launch Details
The Tata Altroz Racer is expected to be launched in the coming months with an estimated starting price of around ₹10 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the Hyundai i20 N Line in this segment. Tata has not announced any official offers yet, but pricing and variants will be revealed at the time of launch.
