Tata has finally revealed the updated version of its popular premium hatchback – the Altroz Facelift. The company has made subtle design tweaks and added several new features while keeping the core structure unchanged. Buyers looking for a stylish, feature-loaded car with reliable performance can now consider the Altroz with a refreshed look and tech upgrades.

Engine and Performance Updates

The Tata Altroz Facelift continues to offer the same powertrains as the earlier model. It gets a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 86 PS and 113 Nm torque. Alongside, the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol option churns out 110 PS and 140 Nm. A 1.5-litre diesel engine delivering 90 PS and 200 Nm torque is also available. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a DCA automatic gearbox for the petrol variant.

Mileage Figures

The new Altroz facelift offers similar mileage as the outgoing version. The petrol manual variant delivers around 19.33 km/l while the DCA petrol gives 18.5 km/l. The diesel variant offers an impressive 23.6 km/l, making it a solid choice for long-distance commuters.

Features and Specifications

Tata has introduced a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The digital instrument cluster, air purifier, ventilated front seats, voice commands, rear AC vents, and six airbags in top trims add to the premium experience. The exterior sees minor cosmetic changes like a tweaked grille, updated DRLs, and revised alloy wheels. The car retains its signature strong build and 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP.

Price and Launch Details

The Tata Altroz Facelift is expected to start around Rs 6.80 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 10.80 lakh for the top-end variant. It is likely to be launched by mid-2025. Tata may also offer limited-time introductory pricing or exchange bonuses during the launch phase to attract early buyers.
