In the coming few months, many new electric scooters are going to be seen on the roads of the country. Suzuki E-Access 

 

Suzuki Motorcycle India showcased its first electric scooter for India “E-Access” at the 2025 India Mobility Expo. Its production has started in May 2025 at the Gurugram plant in Haryana. It will have many modern features like stylish dual-tone color, LED lights, USB charger, and smart Bluetooth connectivity.

It will have a 3 kWh LFP battery which will be able to cover a distance of about 95 kilometers on a single charge. Fast charging support is also provided in it. Smart features like TFT digital screen, navigation and weather information make it special.

Hero MotoCorp’s new electric scooter Vida VX2 will be launched by the company on 1 July 2025. This scooter is being brought especially for those customers who want a reliable e-scooter at an affordable price. Vida VX2 will be offered in two variants – Go and Plus.

It will have battery options of 2.2 kWh and 3.4 kWh and it will run up to 100 km on full charge. The special thing is that it can also be purchased on Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, which will reduce its starting price significantly. Talking about the features, it will include important options like basic digital display and safety alert.

TVS – Orbiter

 

TVS Motor Company is going to launch a new and cheap electric scooter, which may be named Orbiter. It will be priced less than iQube and will be brought to the market by October 2025. Orbiter can get the same 2.2 kWh battery which is given in the base model of iQube. It is likely to use Bosch’s hub motor.

The range of this scooter will be around 80 km. Although not much information has been revealed about its features and design yet, but looking at the company’s existing scooters, it is expected that it will also get good performance and style.

Yamaha RY01

Japanese brand Yamaha is now preparing to bring its first electric scooter to India. The company is preparing this scooter with the codename RY01 and it is being made in collaboration with Bengaluru-based EV company River.

It will be based on the River Indie model and will be manufactured at River’s plant itself. This scooter of Yamaha will have a 4 kWh battery which will run more than 100 kilometers on a single charge. Its top speed can be around 90 km / h. It will have many premium features like a 6-inch colored digital screen and large 14-inch tires. Its launch may take place in early 2026.
