Honda has officially started delivery of its adventure-style X-ADV 750 maxi-scooter in India, priced at ₹11.5 lakh (ex-showroom). This premium scooter is being imported as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) and offers performance and design that rival mid-capacity adventure motorcycles. It combines a rugged ADV stance with city practicality, giving riders something bold, powerful, and futuristic.
Engine performance beats expectations
The Honda X-ADV 750 is powered by a 745cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. This motor produces 58.6 PS of power at 6750 rpm and 69 Nm of torque at 4750 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), allowing automatic as well as manual gear shifts without a traditional clutch. It also includes throttle-by-wire and multiple riding modes like Sport, Rain, Standard, Gravel, and User mode, offering full control for different terrains.
Mileage figures and ride efficiency
Despite its powerful engine, the X-ADV 750 offers a mileage of around 27-30 kmpl, which is impressive for a scooter of this size and segment. The 13.2-litre fuel tank ensures a long range on a single fill, suitable for both city rides and weekend getaways. The fuel efficiency combined with adventure capability makes it unique in the Indian market.
Other key features and design elements
The scooter features a rugged design with long-travel suspension, adjustable windscreen, and spoke wheels fitted with dual-purpose tyres. It gets a full digital TFT display with smartphone connectivity, cruise control, and keyless ignition. Braking duties are handled by dual front discs with ABS. The seat height is 820 mm, and ground clearance is 165 mm, making it tall yet manageable for experienced riders.
Price, availability and exclusivity
Honda X-ADV 750 is priced at ₹11.5 lakh (ex-showroom), available in limited numbers. Deliveries are underway through BigWing dealerships. Being a CBU unit, this is not a mass-market model but a premium offering for niche customers who want the comfort of a scooter with the punch of a mid-weight adventure motorcycle.
