Hyundai Creta EV 2025 Launching Soon – Price, Features, Range & More Inside

Hyundai is preparing to launch its much-awaited electric SUV, the Creta EV, in 2025. Spotted multiple times during testing, the upcoming model is expected to carry the same charm as its petrol counterpart, with a future-ready design and new-age electric powertrain. The company aims to target the mid-size electric SUV segment where competition is gradually rising.

Electric Motor & Battery Details

The Hyundai Creta EV is likely to get a 45kWh to 50kWh battery pack, paired with a single electric motor configuration. The setup is expected to deliver power output in the range of 135 BHP to 140 BHP. It may support both AC and fast DC charging with an estimated 10-80% charge time of under 60 minutes using a fast charger.

Driving Range & Mileage

Once fully charged, the Hyundai Creta EV is expected to deliver a certified range of 450 to 500 km, depending on variant and driving conditions. In real-world driving, the SUV may offer a practical range of 350 to 400 km. This range puts it in direct competition with other electric SUVs in the same price bracket.

Features, Interior and Other Highlights

The design of the Creta EV will be inspired by the facelifted ICE version with minor tweaks like a closed grille and EV-specific accents. Inside, it is expected to offer a digital instrument cluster, a large infotainment screen with EV-specific data, connected car tech, ventilated seats, and ADAS features. The SUV will likely offer both single and dual-tone colour options along with new alloy wheels.

Expected Price and Launch Timeline

The expected price of Hyundai Creta EV will be around ₹22 lakh to ₹25 lakh (ex-showroom). The official launch is expected by mid-2025. Hyundai may introduce multiple variants, and introductory offers are likely to boost early sales. It will rival the likes of Tata Curvv EV and Maruti eVX.
