This mid-size electric SUV will be a part of Mahindra’s Born Electric range, carrying an aggressive design language, cutting-edge tech and a powerful stance to attract new-gen buyers. Its India debut is already creating excitement.
Engine Setup and Performance Details
Being a born-electric SUV, the Mahindra BE.06 will run on a fully electric powertrain. While official specs are awaited, it is likely to come with Mahindra’s INGLO platform, offering both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options. The expected motor setup could deliver up to 285 bhp power, and battery capacity may range between 60 kWh to 80 kWh, depending on the variant. Fast-charging support will be included.
Impressive Driving Range and Mileage
The BE.06 is expected to offer a driving range of around 450 km on a single charge. This will make it suitable for both city drives and long highway runs. Regenerative braking and multiple drive modes will enhance battery efficiency. Mahindra is also focusing on ensuring low charging times with DC fast chargers.
Tech and Feature Highlights
Inside the BE.06, a large curved display will combine the digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen. It is likely to support connected car tech, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ADAS Level 2, and multiple ambient lighting modes. The design will carry strong coupe-SUV styling with sharp LED lights, bold grille patterns and premium alloy wheels. Cabin space will comfortably seat 5 adults.
Expected Price and Launch Plans
The Mahindra BE.06 is expected to launch in the second half of 2025. Pricing is likely to start from ₹25 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a rival to the Hyundai Creta EV and MG ZS EV. Mahindra may also offer introductory pricing or exchange bonuses to attract early adopters. The BE.06 will play a key role in Mahindra’s EV roadmap.
