Mahindra Scorpio-N to Get Lane Assist and ADAS Soon – Know Launch Timeline

Mahindra is preparing to upgrade the Scorpio-N with some advanced features. A recent teaser shared by the company confirms that the Scorpio-N will soon be equipped with ADAS technology. The highlight is the introduction of the Lane Keep Assist function, a premium feature usually found in higher-segment vehicles. With this, Scorpio-N is set to become safer and more tech-rich for Indian SUV buyers.

Powerful mHawk Engine Setup Continues

The Mahindra Scorpio-N is expected to retain its current engine setup, which includes a 2.0L turbo-petrol and a 2.2L mHawk diesel engine. The petrol engine delivers up to 200 bhp and 380 Nm torque, while the diesel engine offers 172 bhp and 400 Nm torque, depending on the variant. Both engine options are paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. It also offers 4X4 capability in select trims, making it a practical choice for off-road lovers.

Mileage Figures As Per Fuel Type

As per user reports and test figures, the petrol variants of the Mahindra Scorpio-N offer a mileage of around 12–13 kmpl, while the diesel variants can go up to 15–16 kmpl under ideal conditions. These figures may vary depending on road and driving style but still make it a decent performer for city and highway use.

Feature Update: ADAS, Safety & Cabin Tech

The ADAS update will include features like Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Warning, and possibly Autonomous Emergency Braking in the top variant. Current features include an 8-inch touchscreen, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, electric sunroof, dual-zone climate control, six airbags, and 360-degree camera. The overall build remains robust, supported by a strong ladder-on-frame chassis.

Pricing Strategy and Launch Expectation

The current price of the Mahindra Scorpio-N starts from ₹13.85 lakh and goes up to ₹24.54 lakh (ex-showroom). With ADAS features incoming, the top-end variants may see a slight price bump. Mahindra is likely to launch this updated version in the upcoming festive season or by end of 2025.
