Maruti Suzuki Hits Major Milestone with 5,500th Service Touchpoint in India

New Delhi, July 21, 2025 — Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), the country’s largest automobile manufacturer, has achieved a significant milestone in its customer service journey. The company has officially inaugurated its 5,500th service touchpoint in India, marking a new chapter in its efforts to enhance after-sales support and accessibility across the nation.

The newly launched facility in Udaipur, Rajasthan, was inaugurated by Ram Suresh Akela, Executive Officer – Service at MSIL, alongside Yasuhiro Kawai, further strengthening the company’s foothold in the western region.

With this addition, Maruti Suzuki’s service network now comprises nearly 40,000 service bays, capable of servicing a staggering 30 million vehicles annually. In FY 2024-25 alone, the company serviced over 27 million vehicles, a record-high for any single financial year.

Expanding Reach with a Focus on Trust and Convenience

Speaking about the achievement, Maruti Suzuki’s Managing Director & CEO Hisashi Takeuchi emphasized the importance of proximity and reliability in after-sales service for Indian customers.

“When buying a new car, one of the most important factors for our customers is the easy availability of a nearby service center that provides dependable service at fair prices. With support from our dealer partners, we now have a presence in 2,764 towns and cities with 5,500 service touchpoints,” Takeuchi stated.

This customer-first approach is at the core of Maruti Suzuki’s strategy to provide not just vehicles but peace of mind to millions.

Aggressive Expansion Strategy Continues

Maruti Suzuki added 460 new service touchpoints in FY 2024-25—an average of more than one new center per day. The company isn’t slowing down either. It has already set an ambitious target to launch 500 additional service points in the current fiscal year, of which 91 have already been operationalized.

This aggressive expansion aligns with the brand’s commitment to improve accessibility in both urban and rural areas, ensuring customers across India receive consistent and quality service.
