A new player is entering India’s competitive smartphone market, promising affordable devices with advanced features. AI+, a brand under NxtQuantum Shift Technologies led by former Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth, is gearing up to launch its first two smartphones — the AI+ Nova 5G and AI+ Pulse 4G — exclusively on Flipkart on July 8.
Affordable 5G Phones with AI and Clean Android Experience
Both models are expected to shake up the entry-level and budget smartphone segments, with prices starting as low as ₹5,000. The brand emphasizes delivering 5G connectivity, integrated AI intelligence, and a clutter-free Android experience, all crafted with a “Made-in-India” approach.
Flipkart has already activated landing pages for the upcoming phones, revealing early specifications and features that highlight a blend of power, style, and sustainability.
AI+ Nova 5G: Mid-Range Powerhouse
The AI+ Nova 5G is positioned as a mid-range 5G smartphone featuring:
-
A 50MP dual rear camera setup
-
A large 5000mAh battery for long-lasting usage
-
6GB RAM paired with 128GB internal storage, expandable up to 1TB
-
Design elements including a flat display, waterdrop notch, and a round camera housing
Industry insiders, including tipster Debayan Roy, suggest the Nova will be powered by a 6nm Unisoc T8200 chipset, balancing efficiency and performance.
AI+ Pulse 4G: Budget-Friendly Option
The AI+ Pulse 4G offers a more budget-centric alternative while maintaining key features similar to the Nova, such as the camera and battery specs. However, it sports a rectangular camera module and runs on a slightly different 12nm Unisoc T7250 processor, ensuring a dependable experience at a lower cost.
Custom OS, Eco-Friendly Initiatives, and Data Security
Both smartphones will run NxtQuantum OS, based on Android 15 and customized specifically for the Indian market. This OS promises no bloated apps, smooth AI-powered assistant features, and an optimized interface tailored for Indian users.
Data privacy is also a priority, with user data stored on MeitY-approved Google Cloud infrastructure. Additionally, AI+ aims to incorporate recycled materials in certain components, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
What This Means for Indian Consumers
With smartphone prices often climbing even in entry-level segments, AI+’s aggressive pricing could redefine affordability in India’s market. Offering 5G connectivity at a starting price of around ₹5,000 — possibly under ₹10,000 — means more users can access faster internet and smarter technology without burning a hole in their pockets.
