The Ministry of Cooperation has rolled out the CRCS Sahara Resubmission Refund Portal, offering a fresh opportunity for Sahara depositors whose refund claims were earlier rejected or marked incomplete. This move comes as part of the Supreme Court-monitored refund process, aimed at resolving long-pending refund issues related to four Sahara Group cooperative societies.
What Is the CRCS Sahara Resubmission Refund Portal?
This newly launched portal allows depositors to re-submit their refund claims online if their previous applications were rejected due to document deficiencies or other issues. Importantly, this portal is only for resubmitting claims already filed and found lacking; new applicants need to use a separate registration portal.
The refund process is conducted under the strict supervision of the Supreme Court and follows the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) approved by retired Justice R. Subhash Reddy. Legal oversight is provided by Advocate Gaurav Agarwal, Amicus Curiae appointed by the Court, ensuring transparency and fairness.
Who Can Use the Resubmission Portal?
Access to the resubmission portal (https://mocresubmit.crcs.gov.in) is exclusively for those whose refund applications have either failed payments or were flagged for deficiencies. Depositors who have not applied before must register through the initial portal here: https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in.
If your refund claim was marked deficient on the original portal, you will need your 14-digit Claim Request Number (CRN) to log in and correct your submission.
Important Notes for Depositors
-
If the deficiency was due to missing membership or account opening forms from the Sahara society’s side, the society must upload these documents digitally before the portal can process your claim again.
-
Depositors are encouraged to contact their respective Sahara society if the required documents have not been uploaded yet.
-
Only claims that have been pending for over 45 days are eligible for resubmission.
-
To avoid server overload, the resubmission portal is being opened in phases, and these phases will be clearly mentioned on the portal’s login page.
