Tata Curvv EV India Launch 2025 – Expected Price, Features, Range & Full Specs Revealed

Tata Curvv EV : With the launch of the Tata Curvv EV just around the corner, Tata is set to shake up the electric SUV market down south. First revealed as a conceptual project, the Curvv EV will be officially launched in India somewhere around mid-to-late 2025. It has been mostly under the radar until now, and with its coupe SUV styling, modern interiors, and an impressive range, it has garnered further attention of weekenders and family car buyers alike.

The Curvv EV is going to have two battery pack options. The smaller one, probably 45 kWh, should give a driving range of around 430 km at a full charge, and the bigger pack, 55 kWh, should give a range of the higher figure, above 500 km. Power outputs will vary from one variant to another: entry-level versions would be getting almost 150 PS, while top-end variants would come closer to 165 PS. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint time is said to be just shy of 9 seconds, quite respectable for an electric SUV in this price bracket.

Pricing for the Curvv EV is expected to start at Rs 17.5 lakh (ex-showroom) for the lower variant, while for the higher variants it may go up to ₹22 lakh. Tata is probably selling the EV in several trims- Creative, Accomplished, and Empowered- loaded with features and styling but each different from one another.

Interiors are expected to be feature-loaded, including a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system functioning with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a digital driver display, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear AC vents, and air purifier. In terms of safety, Tata is likely to provide six airbags, electronic stability control, 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS features like lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control.

The charging will be fast for Curvv EV. The battery will charge from 10% to 80% in about 40 minutes at maximum 70 kW DC fast charging. Some 7.2 kW AC charger will be available for home use for overnight charging.

The Tata Curvv EV seems on track to become one of India’s most tastefully styled electric SUVs under ₹25 lakh. With a good range, exciting features, and a premium look and feel, it could easily be at the top of the wish list of Indian consumers wanting to convert but who will not compromise on style or practicality.
